Previous Projects

  • Designed and led the Fashion Focus Africa platform 2019 & 2020.

    Fashion Focus Africa is a platform designed to discover the next generation of talent. Finalists undergo one year of business training with expert workshops, debut on the Lagos Fashion Week runway and present in front of a panel for the sum of 5 million naira fund (13,000USD).

    For the two years, I designed the curriculum, mentored young designers on business innovation in weekly workshops.

  • 2019 - Project Manager

    Planned and delivered all aspects of Fashion Focus Talks 2019, this includes managing stakeholders, produced the event and program. Fashion Focus Talks hosts free panel events from young creatives and entrepreneurs. Fashion Focus Talks was hosted in Lagos, Abuja, Dakar and Kigali.

  • Produced SHF In Conversation With, 8 weekly conversations with experts that covered topics such as E-commerce, sourcing, and the fashion industries push to digital. In Conversation With was produced for Lagos Fashion Week’s Youtube page.

  • 2020 - Digital Showrooms

    Partnered with Paris based Tranoi and Le New Black for digital showrooms. Coordinated the adoption and training of 9 African brands across two showroom platforms.

    2019 - Paris Fashion Week Showroom

    Planned and executed Lagos Fashion Week showroom during Paris Fashion Week in partnership with ITC She Trades. Hosted 14 female-owned clothing and accessory brands.

    2018 - Paris Fashion Week Showroom

    Planned and executed Lagos Fashion Week showroom during Paris Fashion Week in partnership with ITC She Trades. Hosted 8 female-owned clothing and accessory brands.

  • 2023 - Project Coordinator

    For the Caine Prize, I joined the team as a project coordinator to ensure the implementation of all Writer’s Week activities were a success.

    This included RSVP and guest list management, ensuring all guests were well informed of ongoings during the Caine Prizes week and Award Ceremony.

  • 2021 - Project Lead

    Worked closely with director as central project manager. Led cross-functional teams and operated as partnerships manager.

    2020 - Project Manager

    Planned, designed, and executed Lagos Fashion Week’s Fashion Business Series.

    2019 - Project Manager

    Assisted lead project manager, and coordinated Fashion Focus Africa interviews and runway debuts.

    Produced and delivered a digital showcase of conscious and innovative African designers with digital presentations, talks and short film.

    2020- Project Lead

    Developed and executed LagosFW’s first digital showcase. Secured and coordinated designers and experts for sustainability-focused workshops.

  • 2021 - Project Manager

    Planned and executed e-commerce event for second consecutive year, supporting over 60 creative SMEs.

    2020 - Project Manager

    Identified and facilitated key partnerships. Developed first e-commerce marketplace for SME’s sales event.
